Samples, Price Lists under Geneva Convention

Covers samples of goods exempted from import duties under Geneva convention of 7 November, 1952. Notification lists detailed condition for import. Import is subject to reexport.

Ntfn 185 The goods specified in the table
02.08.76 annexed hereto, when imported
into India, are exempt from the whole of the duty of customs leviable thereon which is specified in the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975), and from the whole of the additional duty leviable thereon under section 3 of the said Customs Tariff Act.

1.	Samples of goods which are exempt from import duties under and in accordance with the International Convention to facilitate the importation of Commercial samples and Advertising material drawn up at Geneva and dated the 7th day of November, 1952.
2.	Price lists which are supplied free of charge and which are exempt from import duties under and in accordance with the aforesaid Convention.
